It’s a great technique for when you have no time. When you have no space. When you want to surprise the defense and the keeper.Remember, Brasil had a huge center-forward named Serginho. He would often hit freekicks/deadballs with his toe. This means he had time to decide between using the laces, the inside, or the outside. And, Serginho Chulapa would bypass all those techniques, and choose his toe.Romario scored with his toe twice in the ‘94’ World Cup. “Knee Tag”. This is a great activity, to get your players into an athletic stance. Quick 10-15 second games. Use a small grid/space, so players won’t just run away. Think of this in the view of (1-on-1) Defending.
